I've been a longtime champion for oversight—especially when it comes to

price tag of all legislation.

It's critical that lawmakers in Washington are discussing our top

exactly where that money is going. It’s like when my children ask me for
$5–I don’t just give them the money,

trillions, they need to be able to tell us line by line what the money is
going towards—and communicate that to the taxpayers who are paying for it.
