Hey folks!

For me, there's nothing like celebrating America's independence with my wife Robin and son Teddy by my side, a beer in my hand, and the warmth of a midsummer Colorado sun.

But there’s nothing more central to the democracy we celebrated this weekend than the voice of the people. So I’d like to set my focus on what matters most: feedback from you.

During my time as Colorado's governor and mayor of Denver, I gained a deep understanding of the commonalities between people in different towns and cities across all 64 counties. It's the same way as a United States Senator: I'm always asking myself what do folks need back home.

I’d love to hear your answers to these questions. Please, take a moment to share your voice on the issues that matter most to you.

I hope you had a happy Independence Day — and thanks again for everything you do for Colorado and our country.

I look forward to hearing from you soon,
