John,
Today marks a holiday you may not have heard of -- National Tell The Truth Day. It’s new to me too, but to mark the occasion, I want to share a few truths with you.
The truth is, Long Island deserves better representation than we're currently getting. We need someone who will listen and vote in our interest, who will stand with hard-working families, and work to protect the beautiful place we call home.
And truthfully, that person is not another extreme partisan like Lee Zeldin. Instead of pursuing the truth about what happened on January 6th, Lee Zeldin voted against the bipartisan commission to investigate the attack on the U.S. Capitol. Instead of working hand in hand with members of Congress on common-sense solutions, he and his extreme Republican colleagues continue to vote against any policy that might help the working people of New York.
From protecting the right to vote, getting dark money out of politics, and providing relief for working families, far right Republicans have opposed policies that will benefit millions of people just for the sake of obstruction and partisan games. We've been through too much over the past year to have a representative who continues to vote against policy that would help so many.
The truth is -- we deserve better. New York deserves a leader with the compassion and grit to make our community a better place for our families. And I know I can be that leader for New York.
And here’s my last truth: A contribution to my campaign really means a lot to me. It shows me that you believe in what we stand for here on Team Hahn. John, can you show you hold these truths with me and donate to our campaign today?
