FUTURES launches a ground-breaking new survey!
Hi friends:
Help us spread the word! Futures Without Violence, in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, is launching a national survey to better understand the experiences and attitudes teens have around academic, work, and financial pressures within intimate partnerships. With support from the Allstate Foundation, this first-of-its-kind study will assess the forms and prevalence of economic abuse among 13 to 19 year olds and determine its impact on their education attainment, employment opportunities, and financial independence. Participants will receive $20 for completing the questionnaire. Knowledge gained from this study will inform efforts to educate teens about unhealthy relationships so that they are better able to recognize the signs and impacts of economic abuse and seek support.
The survey is open to 13 to 19 year olds across the country, which we need help reaching! Please circulate the graphics and messaging from our social media toolkit, in addition to sharing these materials with any of your partners that provide youth services.
