Friend, Nearly 98 percent of Americans live in states where some form of cannabis is legal. And for years, federal law has forced legal cannabis businesses to be cash-only, preventing safe banking -- impacting communities across Colorado, and across the country. Not only is this absurd, but it's also a public safety risk -- and it's time to align state and federal law. That's why Jason recently helped pass the Safe and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Banking Act to finally allow legal cannabis businesses the financial services and protections they need. It's time that the rest of the nation follow our lead -- and now, they could finally be able to. The House has already passed the SAFE Banking Act, but we can't allow it to die in Mitch McConnell's legislative graveyard. The Senate refuses to take action on too many issues with easy, common-sense solutions just like this one, so we need to put the pressure on them today.
