We’ll get right to the point: our democracy is at stake. Republican elected officials across the country have enacted some of the most restrictive voting laws since Jim Crow, and they have no plans to stop. In Georgia, they reduced the number of ballot drop boxes, imposed rules against giving out food or water in voting lines, and have made it harder for voters to make their voices heard. Similar laws have been put in place in Florida, Iowa, and other states across the country.

Team,

We’ll get right to the point: our democracy is at stake. Republican elected officials across the country have enacted some of the most restrictive voting laws since Jim Crow, and they have no plans to stop. In Georgia, they reduced the number of ballot drop boxes, imposed rules against giving out food or water in voting lines, and have made it harder for voters to make their voices heard. Similar laws have been put in place in Florida, Iowa, and other states across the country.

Make no mistake: Republican elected officials in Colorado have tried to suppress the vote here, too.

Jena has stood firm against these proposed laws, but if she’s replaced by a Republican in 2022, there’s no telling what could happen. Can you chip in $25 now to help Jena continue defending our democracy?

Just this year, after holding one of the largest and highest turnout elections in Colorado’s history, a Republican State Senator introduced a bill that would dismantle our gold standard voting system and restrict mail-in voting. These are blatant attempts to undermine voters’ confidence in our election system.

This bill was stopped, but it just goes to show that Colorado isn’t safe from these attempts without people like Jena in office to help stop them.

Chip in towards Jena’s re-election campaign now and help keep Colorado protected from these attacks on voters’ rights.

After having the highest number of votes cast in the state of Colorado’s history, we can’t risk our progress being lost.

Thanks for the support.
