Texas Governor Greg Abbott just announced the topics for Republicans’ special session in the Texas legislature, beginning tomorrow. And it looks like Republicans will try to pass their voter suppression bill once again.

Texas Democrats heroically blocked the voting bill last time by using every tool in the toolbox. Now, we need to let them know we have their backs again.

Can you pitch in $5 or whatever you can afford to support Democrats fighting back against voter suppression?

People First is doing everything we can to protect voting rights and remove lawmakers who try to undermine them. Texas Democrats in the legislature walked out of the session at the last minute, preventing Republicans from passing their racist voter suppression bill.

In this special session we need to show Texas Democrats that we have their backs once again. We need every Texan who believes that the right to vote is critical to speak out and pitch in to support our work.
