The Expanded Child Tax Credit is Here!

Great news – you could be receiving an additional $300 every month! Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, the IRS will start delivering checks up to $300 per month per child beginning July 15th. Most taxpayers will not need to take additional steps, but some taxpayers may need to provide the IRS with updated information. You can find out more at ChildTaxCredit.gov. 7th Annual CA-27 Photo Contest

This is truly a summer to celebrate! After a long and difficult quarantine, we are finally nearing the end of the coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to the American Rescue Plan and people like you getting vaccinated, California is reopening and many of us getting back to normal. 

But what’s normal? You tell me! For this year’s CA-27 Photo Contest, I want to see what you’re most looking forward to this summer now that we are reopening. It can be a family gathering, a concert, or just a dinner indoors. The only rules are that the photo must be from here in the 27th Congressional District and it must be one that you took.

To participate, e-mail your photo to [email protected] by 12 PM on July 14th and then follow me on Facebook (www.facebook.com/RepJudyChu). The photo with the most “likes” on Facebook by 12 PM on July 27th will be my new cover photo for a year, and it will hang in my Washington, D.C. office! 

Submit your pictures to [email protected] by July 14, 2021 to participate and show off what you’re most looking forward to this summer in the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys!
