Virginia Catholic Conference provides key voter registration resource, encourages parishes to conduct drives

This year in Virginia, Election Day is Tuesday, November 2. Voters will elect a Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General, and will determine all 100 state House of Delegates seats. As Catholics, we are called to practice faithful citizenship. 

One highly effective way for parishes to help voting-age members participate in the political process is by conducting nonpartisan voter registration drives. The Virginia Catholic Conference has updated its voter registration resource, which includes 10 easy steps for conducting a drive. The registration deadline for the general election is Tuesday, October 12.
