My Sisters and Brothers, I am devastated by the Supreme Court’s recent decision to essentially gut the Voting Rights Act.
We should be expanding voting rights and access to the ballot box, not suppressing it! I want you to know that your vote matters and it is so important to upholding our democracy. The voting rights fight is one we cannot afford to lose. I need you to join me and make your voice heard right now: Our voices will not be suppressed – we demand increased access to the ballot box!
Voter suppression is anti-American. While Republicans in Washington and in state legislatures across the country claim to love this nation, they’re actively working behind closed doors to silence your voice – from restricting voting access to scare tactics.
My friends, we will not be intimidated. We will make our voices heard! This is why it’s so critical to have your name on my voting rights petition. Make your voice heard right now >> [link removed]
Thank you for joining me in this fight.
