I am thrilled to serve the Oklahoma Democratic Party as Secretary. I strongly believe we’re at a pivotal moment in our state’s history and in the history of our party. For us to truly move Oklahoma forward, we’re going to have to roll up our sleeves and get to work on doing three fundamental things: we need to recruit strong candidates up and down the ticket, we need to increase voter registration efforts across the state, and we need to carry a unified statewide message. I’m proud to help lead this organization at such a critical time.
Today, I did something that’s less about leadership and more about being a Democrat in Oklahoma. I became a monthly donor.
Each month, the Oklahoma Democratic Party works tirelessly to register new voters online. This costs us about $2 per voter. By signing up to contribute $10, $25, or even $50 a month, you are directly helping us do exactly what Democrats in Oklahoma should be doing right now. We’re in a position to defend our incumbents and flip more districts.
Moving this state forward and flipping districts from red-to-blue takes long-term, sustained planning. That's why a monthly pledge from you is so important. We’re achieving real momentum and need to keep up this progress for the rest of 2021.
