Hi —
The American Jobs Plan is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build back better and achieve so much of what we've been fighting for. Millions of new good-paying jobs. An economy powered by clean energy. A plan to seriously tackle environmental racism.
Thousands of volunteers across the country are joining together to fight to pass the American Jobs Plan NOW. We're telling our stories in meetings with our members of Congress, in virtual events, in letters to the editor, on the phone with volunteers, on social media, and on the streets where we're organizing to win. Everyone has a story, and we want to hear yours.
If you have a story you'd like to share but aren't sure how to tell it, that's OK! Join us for a special training on Wednesday, July 7 that will help you craft your story and turn it into a powerful tool for change.
What: American Jobs Plan Storytelling Training
When: Wednesday July 7, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Where: Online via Zoom!
Every year that we wait to take action against climate change is less time to reverse its terrible effects like the scorching heat wave impacting millions of people in the northwest. Pennsylvania is already seeing increased flooding, heat waves, and heavy storms that none of us wants to become the new norm.
The American Jobs Plan will help us build the clean energy economy we need to tackle these and other dangerous impacts of climate change, making this an unprecedented moment. But our margins in Congress are extremely narrow, and we’re facing an onslaught of Big Oil propaganda and lies about the recovery package.
At this critical moment in our campaign, activists like you across the country are fighting back against Big Polluters’ financial power with people power. We are telling our stories of why we care about climate change and why we support the American Jobs Plan to build our movement and influence our members of Congress.
Chances like this to change our country and our world don’t come around often. Register today for the July 7 Storytelling Training >>
Thanks for all that you do.
