WHAT WE DO: Through The Collective Education Fund, we fund voter registration efforts like our Vote To Live Campaign and voter education initiatives. We also hold an annual Black Policy Summit and support the Black Campaign School to train and prepare the next generation of Black political leaders.
VICTORIES: In 2020, The Collective Education Fund organized the largest Black voter engagement program in the country — Vote To Live. Because of your support, we:
- Made 2.8 million phone calls to Black voters;
- Invested $1.5 million in radio ads to get out the vote in Black communities;
- Organized 183,000 volunteer phone bank shifts;
- Offered 75,000 free rides to the polls;
- And registered 114,000 voters before Election Day.
WHAT'S AT STAKE: Republican lawmakers are passing a wave of voter suppression laws across the country, and the Supreme Court of the United States just dealt a nearly fatal blow to the original Voting Rights Act of 1965 when it ruled in favor of Arizona's outrageous voter suppression law.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: The next two years will determine the future of our democracy.
Donate to The Collective Education Fund today to help us boldly and unapologetically fuel our national movement to build Black political power and empower Black communities.
Thank you,
The Collective Team
