Since he took office in 2014, AG Herring has made it his mission to build a more just and equitable commonwealth in Virginia, and in turn, a better country for us all.
Friend,
I hope you had a restful holiday weekend! I’m reaching out today because I want you to meet Mark Herring: Grill-master, Dad, and Democratic Attorney General running for reelection in Virginia.
When he’s not in the office fearlessly fighting for us, you can find him in the backyard tending to the grill (charcoal for most things, applewood if he’s barbecuing) or in his garden. And he might just be bopping along to Taylor Swift (I kid you not, he's a HUGE fan). Since he took office in 2014, AG Herring had made it his mission to build a more just and equitable commonwealth in Virginia, and in turn, a better country for us all.
Mark is the real deal, team. He was raised by a single mother in Virginia who instilled a can-do, community-first spirit in him from the start. He put himself through college and law school with construction jobs, and he’s never forgotten where he comes from.
He’s exactly the sort of leader we need in the AG’s office, especially when you consider his opponent — a pro-Trump extremist hell-bent on rolling back reproductive freedoms, votings rights, and so much more.
