Exactly six months ago, we witnessed an unprecedented assault on our democracy.

The mob that attacked our Capitol on January 6th injured countless police officers and caused more than $30 million in damage. Every day since, the American people have demanded answers. And every step of the way, Republican leaders have done everything in their power to stop the truth from coming out.

That’s why I took to the House floor to give them hell and say it real simple: The GOP ain’t living in reality. Now, I need you to stand with me against a field of far-right extremists so we can expand our Democratic Senate majority.

I just got a new GOP opponent, and like the rest of them, he’s desperate for Trump’s approval. If a Republican wins this seat, you can bet they’ll use their position to parrot the Big Lie and sabotage our bold Democratic agenda.

But the New York Times reports that Ohio’s open Senate seat is “one of the most wide-open 2022 Senate races.” And not only that -- this race is “one of a few in next year’s midterm elections that could determine which party controls the [Senate].”

This is it, friends. We HAVE to win this seat. It’s our best chance to make sure the Senate is working for the American people -- not Donald Trump.

Republicans will treat today like any other day. It’s up to us to recognize it by doubling down on our efforts to protect our democracy. If you’re with me, will you chip in to my grassroots campaign today?
