John, six months
ago, Cori announced her first resolution in Congress while in lockdown
during the insurrection.

Cori called for the investigation and expulsion of the Republican members
of Congress who attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential
election and incited an attempted white supremacist coup.

It’s painful to look back on this disgraceful day in our country’s history
— but we made a promise to hold every Republican responsible for their
actions and to never stop fighting against the hatred and division they
sowed in our democracy.

We will never forget what happened on January 6, 2021. And we will never
stop speaking out against the white supremacy that’s still prevalent in
our country.

That’s why Cori has been busy these past months legislating in defense of
Black lives, leading the call to investigate every Republican involved in
the insurrection, and putting our voices at the forefront of our work in
Congress.

Ever since Cori led the charge for accountability for what happened on

said that there’s still so much work to do to address our country’s racist
