President Biden MUST make cybersecurity to a national security priority

Team: The future of warfare is digital — and the U.S. is a top target.

Over the past year, foreign hackers have pinpointed major weaknesses in American cybersecurity. It isn’t just government-on-government attacks or low-level fraud, either. The Pentagon and U.S. intelligence agencies are targets, of course, but so are American meat production, energy corporations, private industries of all stripes… and you, too.

We’re all under attack by foreign adversaries who have become experts at identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in our digital infrastructure.

Our energy and electric grids, health care systems, aviation networks, and economy could ALL be under attack in the near future — but we can take action to ramp up America’s cyber security to make sure this doesn’t become our reality.

By failing to take cybersecurity as seriously as we should, we have allowed our digital infrastructure to fall behind, placing our personal data, government intelligence, and trade secrets in the hands of anyone who wants to do harm to the United States — economically, technologically, or otherwise.

And America’s citizens are at risk.

America is home to some of the brightest minds and best innovators in the world, and we need to flex that muscle by dedicating our resources to developing cyber defense systems that will prepare America to ward off cyber attacks in the days, weeks, and years to come.
