This weekend, right-wing extremist Allen West announced his candidacy for Governor of Texas.
In case you forgot, Allen West is the guy who protested Greg Abbott’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, saying he was too restrictive in his approach to combating the virus.
We are committed to unseating Greg Abbott in 2022. But if Allen West wins the nomination, we will be forced to grapple with something far worse than we imagined.

As bad as Greg Abbott is, Allen West may be even worse.
Allen West is a QAnon supporter. He accused Lt. Gov Dan Patrick of being too liberal on gun safety. And he once attempted a Tea Party-backed challenge of John Boehner for Speaker of the House… even though he was no longer a member of the House.
If he becomes governor, there’s no telling what he would do to our state.
We cannot let Allen West get anywhere close to the governor’s office. So please, chip in what you can right now and help us defeat him in 2022.
