Last month, Congress debated on the For the People Act, which would be a
massive federal overhaul of voting practices in this country that has been
historically left up to the states. One section of the For the People Act
outlaws partisan gerrymandering in congressional districts, stopping
politicians from tilting the scales in their favor by drawing lines that don’t
reflect our communities.

Montana will be gaining a second congressional seat this year, which means we
will undergo a redistricting process. And while our process is meant to be
independent of the legislature, the Montana GOP has shown they won’t stop their
attempts to commandeer the process, already passing unconstitutional
legislation that attempts to take power away from the independent Districting
and Apportionment Commission.

This cannot be allowed to happen. Make your voice heard loud and clear that
you want Congress to BAN partisan gerrymandering once and for all. Add your
