On Thursday night, Trump’s xenophobia and bigotry was on full display.
During his rally, he attacked Ilhan, AOC, and our progressive movement as
a whole.

They’re not going to stop. Trump and his firebrands are going to keep
attacking the Squad out of fear and bigotry, because they’re afraid of
what the Squad represents.

We have to respond by showing them that our people-powered movement is
more powerful than their divide-and-conquer politics. And the best way to
do that is by electing an entirely new wave of progressive Democrats who
will fight for the people in Congress.

But here’s the thing: We need a sustainable amount of funding each month
to usher in this new wave of insurgent candidates.

When Trump comes after the Squad he does it because he and the Republican
Party are terrified of what they represent. They are voices in Congress
who actually represent the will of the American people, not corporate
special interests. Republicans don’t attack corporate or conservative
Democrats because Republicans know they have a lot in common with them.

We have to keep pushing to create real change. We can’t be complacent like
the corporate Democrats who watch Trump and the Republican Party assault
our country and do nothing.
