Friend: The core of our democracy – the right to vote – is under threat from the GOP. And they could succeed, all because of the power of the filibuster. Republicans are dead-set on manipulating the filibuster for their twisted political gain. 

Just recently, the GOP used the filibuster to block the For the People Act, legislation that would defend voting rights and fortify election security. Voting is the foundation of our democracy, and this shouldn't be a partisan issue.

But Mitch McConnell is "100% focused" on stopping the Biden administration. And the filibuster is allowing McConnell and his Republicans to determine which laws get passed and whose voices are heard.
