Our number one priority must be cutting carbon dioxide emissions to net-zero, and fast.
That starts with addressing the largest source of carbon emissions in the U.S.: transportation.
In fact, transportation produces over 28% of greenhouse gases.
Thankfully, we still have time to take action. Even now, one public bus reduces the carbon of 40 cars and improves air quality. But the clock is ticking.
If we made bold investments in a zero-emission transit policy with zero-emission bus fleets across the country, we’d make incredible progress toward avoiding the most catastrophic effects of climate change.
