Here’s the thing, John. Since Alexandria, Ilhan, Rashida, and Ayanna were first elected, we’ve seen attacks on the Squad from all parts of the political establishment and media. Now, a year away from the 2022 primaries, the political establishment is already spending six figures to try and defeat the Squad — especially Ilhan Omar.

Shady law enforcement groups and right-wing foreign policy hawks like AIPAC are dumping money into smear campaigns against the Squad. Fox News continues to smear Justice Democrats. And the Democratic establishment doesn’t do enough to push back against this targeted hatred. These are just some of the barrage of nasty ads and news segments targeting Ilhan and the Squad:
