This weekend is advance voting! The polls are open and that means we can show Canadians that the momentum we’re feeling is real. Yesterday, Jagmeet stopped in Brampton help get out the vote – and was met by hundreds of supporters who are feeling let down by decades of Liberal neglect and Conservative cuts. We launched our latest ad! With more and more people struggling to afford their medications and rising housing costs, we want to make it clear to Canadians that they can vote for a leader and a government that will put them first. John, it’s about choices – Trudeau’s Liberals have chosen over and over again to side with the ultra-rich while everyday people have paid the price. Jagmeet and the NDP are choosing us – and will make the multi-millionaires pay their fair share so that every person can have the support and services they need. In Ottawa, Jagmeet outlined the 6 key priorities that elected New Democrats would champion for all Canadians, no matter what government is elected on October 21. We’re serious about reconciliation with Indigenous peoples and electoral reform so that Canadians never have to vote out of fear again. Jagmeet was mobbed by hundreds of students at Ryerson University who were excited to meet him and hear about our New Deal for Young People. We’re so inspired by young Canadians who are demanding more from our government and not settling for less – and are counting on us to fight for affordable housing, a cap on cell and internet fees, and much needed student debt relief.
