Winning elections can cost millions, sometimes even billions of dollars. So it might ring false when someone emails you to say, “Chip in just $3 to help us win,” or “every donation counts!”

But we’re trying to do things differently here, and that’s why we are being as transparent as possible when it comes to our fundraising efforts.
