Hello John

I hope you are well.

I'm getting in touch to let you know that our new
NUI Certificate in Youth Arts with a Specialism in STEAM is now open for applications.
Apply now or find out more >>
We're delighted to be partnering with Maynooth University to deliver this exciting new Level 7 NUI Certificate.

This part-time programme runs from November 2021 to June 2022 and is designed for anyone working in non-formal education, and looking to learn more about the concepts, principles and practice of youth arts and STEAM in Youth Work.

Why should you take this certified course?

You will:

  • develop and apply skills and competences related to contemporary youth arts and STEAM in Youth Work practice

  • participate in workshops on novel areas of STEAM (such as creative chemistry, printmaking and rocket launching (tbc)) and replicate them with young people using equipment provided by NYCI

  • design, plan, deliver and evaluate your own STEAM in Youth Work project with expert support from NUI Maynooth and NYCI

  • become part of a support network of practitioners, organisations and contacts from across Ireland.
I hope you're as excited about this new programme as we are!

Please do take a look at the details of the programme and how to apply and, if you have any further questions, feel free to get in touch.

Kind regards,

Rhona
