Last year, you provided the team in Korogocho with sanitary equipment, PPE and condoms, keeping the community safe during the initial wave of the pandemic. Now, they are calling for emergency support from you so that the People's Park can continue to serve the community. Your donations will not only protect the park from future flood damage, but they will also allow the team to build on last year's projects. KOMB GREEN will continue to distribute condoms and
lead family planning educational campaigns with local women's groups, as well as painting two murals in the community to raise awareness of gender-based violence and increase family planning uptake. Former sex workers like Debra, now an active member of KOMB GREEN, will also record radio broadcasts to discuss sexual health and reproductive rights. Debra is looking forward to seeing KOMB GREEN deliver workshops in local schools on these themes, while encouraging more children to plant kitchen gardens and learn about urban agriculture. KOMB GREEN faces unprecedented challenges in mitigating the impacts of
climate change and protecting their park from flood damage, while continuing to provide their community with vital services. Please support them in planting the seeds of change in Korogocho.
