Kristin Schell, author of The Turquoise Table
, shares how getting an ‘F’ in high school prompted her parents to send her to France for a summer and how there she developed a love for the table and food. Twenty years later, now with four kids, Kristin began to feel an itch to begin loving her neighbors more intentionally. On a whim she put a turquoise picnic table in her front yard and as a result began to get to know the people around her. Loving her neighbor started simply in her front yard, and now the turquoise table movement has spread around the world with thousands of turquoise tables everywhere. It’s a reminder that loving your neighbor begins with knowing their name. |
