Together we can save our NDIS

Hi there,

The Minister for the NDIS Linda Reynolds is meeting with all of the Disability Ministers from each state and territory this Friday – and we have heard she is going to ask them to support her proposed changes to the NDIS.

We need to make sure every single disability minister knows that people with disability and their families are absolutely against the Federal Government’s changes. But to do that we need your help.

Can you contact the Disability Ministers now, and let them know you don’t support the planned changes – and that they shouldn’t either? [[link removed]]

If the state and territory Ministers for Disability stand with people with disability against these changes, it will send a powerful message to Minister Reynolds.

Minister Reynolds will try to convince them that these changes are needed to make the NDIS sustainable. Or even fairer.

But the truth is while the government has thrown around a lot of numbers, it still hasn’t come clean about how the scheme is actually tracking. Nor have they provided any evidence that the planned changes will actually make things fairer.

That’s why the state and territory ministers need to hear from you now - before they hear from Minister Reynolds. We need thousands of people to speak out and ask the state and territory ministers to stand with people with disability.

Will you speak out before the meeting on Friday? [[link removed]]

Thank you for everything you do – we need your support more than ever.
