On this day, 245 years ago, our Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence and the great American experiment began.
We've had our challenges and our triumphs -- even more than normal over this last year. But I believe that the spirit of innovation, hard work, and bravery that those men and women embodied 245 years ago is still alive and well in Americans today.
And with this in mind, I feel hopeful as we continue the fight for a better tomorrow, while honoring the memory of those who sacrificed for us.
Wishing you and your loved ones a happy, healthy Fourth of July weekend!
