Happy Fourth of July! Independence Day is a celebration of our nation’s freedom — and from all of us at WSDC, we’re wishing you a lovely and relaxing holiday.

245 years ago, our founders declared independence and formed a new nation — with a dream of a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Today, we’re celebrating our independence by working to make sure our nation lives up its highest ideals. Together, we’re fighting for voting rights, action on climate change, and justice and equality for all. This isn’t easy. But it’s possible because of supporters like you.

Last month, we issued an ambitious call to action — we told you how important it is to start laying the groundwork for victory in 2022. And now, thanks to everyone that chipped in ahead of our quarterly deadline, we reached our goal and we’re one step closer to defending our Democratic majority and continuing to make progress on the issues that matter most.

So thank you — for everything you’ve done to support us. Have a wonderful Fourth of July!
