As we take time to celebrate and honor those brave men and women who risked life and limb in the founding of this country, I want to take a moment to reflect on what exactly makes America great.

For me, America has been and always will be the greatest nation on Earth, as long as we as citizens do what we must do, just as our founders did for us.

Americans enjoy a standard of living that is the envy of the world, and our military prowess is unprecedented.

America is not great because we are lucky. America is great because our foundational principles set us on a path to freedom & prosperity, and by and large, we stuck to those principles.

I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish, and determined to do everything in my power to make this country even greater for future generations.
