Happy Independence Day!
I hope you're able to spend the day celebrating and relaxing, I also hope that you're also able to take a moment to reflect on the importance of today. Today, I'm reflecting on a quote from President Harry Truman,
"America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand."
The United States of America is a work in progress, and it's on all of us to help her live up to the ideals set forth in our founding documents–that all are created equal, and that our rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are for everyone.
