Dear John,

The United States was founded as a country of immigrants—people with a dream to build a brighter future for themselves and their families. On the anniversary of our nation’s independence, we can honor the American dream by continuing to empower and protect immigrants in the United States.

Make an Independence Day Gift Honoring Immigrants, Refugees and Asylum Seekers

The contributions of immigrants are a driving force behind our progress as a country. We cannot forget the central role immigrants play in sustaining our communities, especially during COVID-19, risking their lives to serve as healthcare workers, teachers, and farmworkers.

Every day, the NYIC works to make significant strides in expanding immigrant rights in New York and across the country. Yet with DACA still under constant threat, hundreds of thousands of young people still live with the uncertainty of possible deportation.

Donate to Protect Our Future in America!

We are doubling down on our demand for a road to citizenship for DACA recipients, DREAM Act eligible youth, TPS recipients and their families, and essential workers. But our work is only possible with your continued support.

As we reflect on all that the Fourth of July represents, we must remember that our immigrant brothers and sisters deserve an opportunity to pursue their American dreams. Please join us in safeguarding and empowering our immigrant communities by making a gift to the NYIC today

In solidarity,

Murad Awawdeh
