John,

From my family to yours, I want to wish you a happy and safe July 4th.
   
But between the fireworks and barbecues, I just have one request: take a
moment to give thanks that we live in the greatest country on earth.

I’m proud to have fought for America as a Green Beret, and I’m honored to get
to share our wonderful country’s freedom with patriots like you.

Together, we will make sure that the United States remains the greatest,
freest country in the world.
