Dear Friend,
With Independence Day upon us, we have a brief moment to reflect on the founding values of our nation, ones that reinforce the urgency of our cause and form the bedrock of our secular system of governance.
Leaders like James Madison and Thomas Jefferson understood that for a nation-state to effectively protect and elevate the voices of all its citizens, it needed to ensure they were free to believe, or not believe, without interference from the government.

Yet here we are, celebrating the 245rd anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and Congress has adopted a national motto of “In God We Trust,” our Pledge of Allegiance was amended to include, “Under God,” and the Supreme Court continuously decides religious organizations deserve exemptions and privileges over the secular rule of law.
This Fourth of July, we pledge to reestablish a nation where the secular values on which we were founded, values that are enshrined in our Constitution, are actually respected by the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive branches of our government.
That is why I write to ask for your support today. If the past few years have proven anything, it is that a secular voice in Washington D.C. is essential to building and sustaining a government that is, at its core, secular.
Donate now and your gift will be DOUBLED up to $25,000, thanks to generous gifts from one of our supporters!

If you’ve been wondering how to defend the Wall of Separation, now is the perfect time to contribute. Your gift will have twice the impact!
If you have already donated, please accept my gratitude for your support. Together, we will fight for the secular government we deserve.
Sincerely,
Debbie Allen
