As we celebrate July 4th and our nation’s independence, we must also mark that we still do not have the Equal Rights Amendment in the U.S. Constitution.

The U.S. House, in March, passed a resolution removing the time limit from the Equal Rights Amendment’s preamble. But the ERA resolution just sits in the Senate – blocked by the threat of a Mitch McConnell-led filibuster.

It is way past time to enshrine the ERA in the Constitution. In honor of the 4th, will you take four easy actions for the ERA?
