Dear friend,

As we celebrate Independence Day in the United States, we want to make
one thing clear: Access to safe, legal reproductive health
care-including abortion-is critical for individuals,
families, and communities to thrive. But across the U.S., our
reproductive rights are under threat.

The U.S. Supreme Court recently announced it will review our case
challenging a Mississippi abortion ban after just 15 weeks of
pregnancy. This ban unquestionably violates nearly half a century of
Supreme Court precedent and is a test case to overturn Roe v. Wade.

While abortion is still legal in all 50 states, anti-abortion
lawmakers continue to try to legislate abortion care out of
existence-even while Roe remains intact. Abortion is a
constitutional right, but that means nothing if you cannot access it.
We won't stop fighting until everyone has access to the vital
reproductive health care they need and deserve.
