Hey John, it's Steve Earle.
More than four months ago, the House passed H.R.842, Protecting the Right to Organize Act of 2021, known as the PRO Act.
If passed, the PRO Act would usher in the most significant expansion of workers’ rights in generations at a time where billionaires have exploited workers and taken home hundreds of billions of dollars in profits since the start of the pandemic last year.
So far, 47 out of 50 Democrats in the Senate have added their names as co-sponsors of the PRO Act, including West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin. President Biden has made it clear he’s ready to sign the bill. But we still need Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema and Virginia Senator Mark Warner on board.
We’ve never been closer to strengthening labor rights in this country, but we need to keep up the pressure on the Senate to get this done. Will you send a letter to your Senators now demanding they do everything in their power to pass to PRO Act?

Putting power back into the hands of workers is not controversial.
According to recent polling from Data for Progress and More Perfect Union, a majority of voters polled in 13 battleground states support the PRO Act, including Arizona and Virginia – the only states with Democratic senators who have not co-sponsored the PRO Act.1
Working people gave Democrats a mandate in recent elections to deliver on the jobs, care, and justice we urgently need — including in the workplace. It’s time for them to keep their promise.
Send a letter to your Senators demanding they do everything they can to send the PRO Act to Joe Biden’s desk.

In solidarity,
Steve Earle
