We are happy to announce that we are hosting the first event for our new clean air-focused volunteerism program, Blue Sky LA, on Saturday, July 17th at the Farm Lab at Arroyo High School! We will be planting a low water lavender garden to help improve air quality and promote student relaxation and mental wellbeing. Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are welcomed! Where? Blue Sky LA Blue Sky LA is a new community volunteer program presented by Breathe SoCal and Climate Cents. This program provides Southern Californians, individually or through their employers or community organizations, to participate in monthly volunteer events focused on improving our air and environment. Our region has the worst air pollution in the nation. Our goal with Blue Sky LA is to engage our community to volunteer their time to help us improve our region's air quality by the time we host the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
