John, I want to
say thank you—from the bottom of my heart—for being in this fight and
supporting this grassroots campaign.
Because of thousands of small-dollar donors from across the country, our
team was able to hit our second quarterly fundraising goal of the year.
This was so important, John,
because we need to show strong momentum now more than ever.
As we continue to re-open our cities and neighborhoods, we need leaders in
our government who understand the unique problems that working families
face. As a mother of three kids and one of the only single working moms in
Congress, the policies being debated in the Halls of Congress are
personal. That’s why I fight so hard to pass legislation that will lift up
working people and to demand the wealthy pay their fair share.
I don’t take contributions from lobbyists, corporate PACs, or from
executives at Big Oil companies or Wall Street banks. This campaign is
possible because of the small-dollar donations from grassroots supporters
like you.
If we can keep building momentum for our movement fighting for working
people, we’ll be able to compete against the GOP and any opponent they run
to try to flip our district next year.

Can you chip in whatever you can afford today to help us start our third
quarter from a place of strength? Your support early in the quarter will
help us carry our momentum towards 2022.
