It’s official. Our fundraising blackout is over!
I’m about to ask if you’ll chip in $5 to help me catch up on my re-election campaign’s fundraising goals, but first here are a few of the issues I’ve been working on:
- I just signed a bill to create a Public Health Insurance Option that will increase access to public health services throughout Nevada, making our state only the second to ever do so.
- I partnered with education advocates to pass legislation that gives critical funding for public schools across Nevada, strengthening educational opportunities for every child in our state.
-
I stood with unions in passing the “Right to Return” bill, which guarantees gaming and tourism industry workers laid off during the pandemic are able to return to their jobs.
- As voter suppression bills are being passed in states across the country, I just enhanced voting rights in Nevada by permanently expanding mail-in voting options.
But in the meantime, FOUR Republican opponents have announced their campaigns to run against me. And state law has prohibited us from fundraising since January.
That has let my opponents stockpile warchests during our blackout, so we’ve got a lot of catching up to do. We’re calling on our strongest grassroots supporters to chip in $5 or anything they can toward our $50,000 Post-Blackout Fundraising Goal -- Can we count on you to chip in? →
Thank you for your help,
Steve Sisolak
Governor of Nevada
