John,
Amazon is acting like a petulant child, and is calling on newly appointed chair of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Lina Khan, to recuse herself from antitrust conversations because she has argued that Amazon is guilty of antitrust violations.1
But Amazon IS notoriously anti-competitive and monopolistic, and it’s Khan’s job to enforce the laws of our country.
We’re meeting with the FTC in a few weeks and are building a campaign to ensure the FTC does everything in its power to hold the behemoth accountable for its monopolistic practices and to break down its surveillance empire.
Can you chip in right now to help launch this new campaign to make sure the FTC holds Amazon accountable?

Amazon is the world’s largest online retailer, and it got to this point by buying up its competitors or using anti-competitive tactics to run them out of business.2
If Amazon is violating antitrust laws the company should not be able to sideline Lina Khan because it's afraid that she won’t let it off the hook.
Donate to fight Amazon’s antitrust violations.
We’re meeting with the FTC to clarify our concerns with Amazon, which include its massive surveillance empire that puts you, your family, and everyone in our communities in danger (regardless of whether you shop with Amazon or not).
Between Congress’ desire to address antitrust issues, and having a champion at the FTC, we have an opportunity to chip away at Amazon’s empire. But we have to make sure Amazon isn’t able to use its power in D.C. to whine its way out of this situation, and we can’t do that without you. If you can, please chip in today.
Together,
Caitlin at Fight for the Future
