First, I want to say thank you. Because of your support, we were once again able to meet and exceed our end-of-quarter fundraising goal. It’s critical that we fire on all cylinders as we enter the second half of 2021, and you made that possible.

I also wanted to share some more good news with you today: Minnesota has reached President Biden’s 70% vaccination goal by his July 4 deadline, leading the Midwest in the percentage of fully vaccinated residents.

This is a remarkable achievement. I’m so grateful for every Minnesotan who rolled up their sleeves to protect themselves and their communities.

This is a moment to celebrate our progress and the dramatic drop in new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, but we’re not stopping here. We are still focused on getting as many shots in arms as possible to build the broad protection necessary to keep ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities safe from COVID-19 for the long term.
