• The bill allows the Department of Justice to approve new voter laws passed by states with a history of voter suppression measures
• Republicans in state legislatures are continuing to pass voter suppression laws to make it harder for minority communities to vote
• The John Lewis Voting Rights Act is supported by members of BOTH parties

John, we can’t continue to wait for Republican’s attack on our democracy to heal itself, because it won’t.
