Here’s why I’m reaching out today.
We just confirmed that the GOP’s sham recall election is happening in just
a few weeks and your contribution can make a big difference in order to
help Gavin Newsom defeat this Republican attempt to overturn his election.
The stakes are huge, and we need to do everything we can to keep Gavin
Newsom in office. Can you chip in here?

It’s hard to know where to begin.
Gavin Newsom is up for re-election next year, but Republicans know they
can’t win a general election in California since their policies are so
backward and unpopular. Instead, they are wasting millions upon millions
of taxpayers' dollars on a sham recall campaign.
One of their leading candidates is celebrity and television personality,
Caitlyn Jenner, whose campaign is being led by Donald Trump’s former
campaign manager. Seriously.
Meanwhile, national Republicans and some of Trump’s largest donors are
pouring millions of dollars into the state trying to pummel Gavin Newsom
ahead of ballots dropping.
They hate that Gavin Newsom has put science and public health first during
COVID – unlike Donald Trump – and that’s exactly why Trump Republicans are
going after him.
The GOP will use a victory as a springboard to energize, organize and
mobilize anti-vax, pro-Trump extremists against everything Democrats are
trying to accomplish around the country.
That’s the absolute last thing California or the rest of America needs as
we finally get COVID under control and get back on track.
We can’t let them win. The stakes are too high, and it’s why I am asking:
