NPR: "The Supreme Court Deals A New Blow To Voting Rights, Upholding Arizona Restrictions"

The Supreme Court just delivered a final blow to the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Dwight is demanding the Senate defend our right to vote. Add your name to join the fight » [link removed]

John,

The Supreme Court just gave Republican lawmakers free rein to continue their national attack on voting rights. Fueled by Donald Trump's Big Lie, these extremists are passing restrictive voting measures left and right, and now, they have the Court's blessing.

Enough. The Court is refusing to protect our sacred right to vote, so Congress must.

The House has passed the For the People Act to expand access to the ballot box and override these new Jim Crow voter suppression laws. I need you to add your name now to call on the Senate to fight back against corruption and protect our right to vote » [link removed]

These voter suppression laws directly target Black and Brown voters. They severely restrict access to mail ballot drop boxes, prevent absentee forms from being mailed out, make it easier for partisan workers to monitor the polls, and even outlaw passing out food and water to people waiting in long lines.

The right to vote is the foundation of all our other legal rights in America. These attacks are chipping away at American democracy, state by state. The Senate must act. The people are watching.

Add your name now to call on the Senate to expand access to the ballot box. Take action » [link removed]

Thank you,

Dwight
