Supreme Court tells federal court to hear San Francisco lifetime lease case

On the heels of last week’s victory in Cedar Point v. Hassid, the U.S. Supreme Court announced Monday that courts must hear a case challenging a San Francisco ordinance forcing land owners to provide lifetime leases to tenants.

The ruling gives Peyman Pakdel and his wife their well-deserved day in court and reaffirms PLF’s 2019 win in Knick v. Scott Township, that property owners should not have to jump through nonsensical hoops to defend their rights.

Court bumbles SC bee killing lawsuit but leaves a sweetener for property rights

Honey business Flowertown Bee Farm and Supplies was a dream come true for owners Juanita Mae Stanley and her husband, Mitch Yawn, of Dorchester County, South Carolina.
