Our democracy is in danger — and we can’t expect the Supreme Court to save us. This ruling was the direct result of a decades long-effort from conservatives to stack the judiciary.

To be clear: Republican-appointed Supreme Court Justices were always going to support Republican voter suppression laws.

That’s why we’re on a mission to fix the courts by electing voting rights advocates to every level of government. John, chip in $10 now. [[link removed]]If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately.

Remember the reason that these voting restrictions laws are suddenly being enacted in the first place: Republicans know they can’t win without anti-democratic measures. *

This is exactly what Republicans have been planning all along.

This court decision amounts to a brazen assault on our democracy. But John, while the struggle to defend voting rights is hard and there will be setbacks like today’s ruling, we’re here to stay and fight for what’s right.

Please contribute what you can today, so that we can push forward in our work to defend the sacred right to vote. [[link removed]]
