Riverside Festival update

Riverside Festival
*Fri 6 - Sun 8 August*

*Victoria Embankment*

________________________________________________________________________

Nottingham City Council has today announced the cancellation of the Riverside Festival.

While decisions on all events could be delayed to when a decision on 19 July is known, an event of the size of Riverside Festival would require more time than this to adequately plan and respond to any new legislation or guidance that may need to be implemented.

No alternative date is being planned for 2021.

The dates for the 2022 event are set for Friday 5, Saturday 6, and Sunday 7 August.

In 2019, the Riverside Festival attracted around 220,000 visitors with a mile-long funfair, live music stages, and the traditional Saturday night firework display. In the meantime, there is a great programme of smaller-scale summer events to enjoy.
